Come witness the beauty of the northern forest and experience the delight of migrants and morning mists. Whether embroidered with soft buds and birdsong or fiery autumn foliage, Big Wood Pond is a spectacular setting for retreat and renewal. A rustic cabin and sleeping yurts on Wood Cove serve as our base while we explore the extensive pond and surrounding wetlands, streams, and woods. A sense of tranquility and timelessness is felt in this wilderness region shared by moose, eagles, and loons. Each day includes time for solitude at the water's edge and for sitting together in a warm cabin sharing our experiences. Previous canoeing experience is not required.
